To work hard and be proud of our hard work. We never know where we will end up working – as kids, we were always going to grow up to be a fireman or policeman or some sort of superhero. But then real life hits us, and we pick a job closer to our wheelhouse. Sometimes it’s what we want to do, sometimes it’s what we’re good at, and sometimes it’s both.
When you’ve dedicated thousands of hours to a profession, it becomes more than just a job. It’s your career, your life’s work, an investment of your blood, sweat and tears. My brothers and I are all now in jobs that are considered “blue collar” — plumber, carpenter, plant worker. I wanted to create a brand that represented our pride in our work. The photo here is totally not us; we’re too busy working, taking care of our families, and enjoying the blessings God and hard work have given us.
